Biometric data: To provide our industrial deepfake services we may extract, hold and use biometric data from photographs or videos provided with your permission for the explicit purpose of providing our industrial deepfake services to you.
Biometric safeguards: We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures, to safeguard and secure personal biometric data and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Images or videos from which biometric data can be extracted will not be accepted over the internet or any other network and must be provided on physical storage media or from an image or video taken by us on our equipment with your permission. All biometric data along with any images or videos from which biometric data is extracted is processed on fully air-gapped computers that are not connected to the internet, ensuring maximum security and confidentiality.
Retention and security: We only keep biometric data or any images or videos from which biometric data is extracted on our systems for the duration required to complete the project and any biometric data or images or videos used during creation of the project are immediately and irrevocably deleted from our systems upon completion of the project. While we are committed to security of biometric data, no security measure is perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of your biometric data. Any exchange of biometric data or images or videos from which biometric data can be extracted is carried out at your own risk.
Information from third parties from which biometric data can be extracted: If we receive images or videos from which biometric data can be extracted from a third party, we will protect it as set out in this Biometric Data Privacy Policy. If you are a third party providing images of videos of somebody else, you represent and warrant that you have such person’s consent to provide the images or videos to us for the explicit purpose of extracting biometric data in order to provide our services.
Disclosure of personal information to third parties
We will never disclose any biometric information or the images or video from which biometric data is extracted to any third parties, with the exception of:
- courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and law enforcement officers, as required or authorised by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; and
- any other third parties as required or authorised by law.
Amendments
We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Biometric Data Privacy Policy by publishing the amended Biometric Data Privacy Policy on our website. We recommend you check our website regularly to ensure you are aware of our current Biometric Data Privacy Policy.
